FAQ about Inserting your HTML tag!

Where do I get the HTML code ?

You need to log into your account control center at: Members Log-in. Once you have logged in, click on 'Get HTML'. Once you have done that, all you need to do is copy the html tag and paste it into your html files (web pages)

Does it matter where I place the banner on my pages ?

You can place the MS-Links Exchange banner anywhere on your web page as long as it can be viewed somehow (hiding it in a non-resizable frame is not allowed). However, please remember, ads placed at the bottom may not generate many hits (impressions) because a user can halt the display or click to another page before the ad has completed its request. If the request is not completed, you don't get credit for it.

I'm using Adobe Pagemill 2.0 and it is changing the HTML
when I try to save it.

Just place the HTML using the no edit placeholder or by placing <!--NOEDIT--> before the Free Banners HTML and placing <!--/NOEDIT--> at the end of the Free Banners HTML

I'm using Netscape Communicator and it is changing the HTML.

Insert the HTML, then right click on the displayed banner, and select image/link properties. In the image properties dialog right under the URL for the image, you will see a check box titled 'leave image at original location', check this box.

Repeat this procedure for the MS-Links Logo (below the banner) as well.
